The Worshipful Company of Builders' Merchants (WCoBM) has admitted four new Freemen at a ceremony held at Cutlers' Hall on 2 July, taking its total number of Liverymen and Freemen to 263. The new Freemen are Andrew Griffiths of Boys & Boden Ltd, Andrew McLellan of JW Grant Ltd, David Pattison of Robert Price Builders' Merchants Ltd, and Owen Thorogood of PPW Ltd.
WCoBM Master Lucia Di Stazio said it was "a real pleasure to welcome new Freemen to the Livery," adding that the Company's membership draws from key figures across the building materials sector, and that a growing membership base helps support the Company's wider work, including philanthropy, investing in future talent and charitable giving.
