Huws Gray has finished the first stage of a branch-wide rebranding programme across its UK network, following the launch of a refreshed corporate identity earlier this year.
The merchant, which operates a large estate of builders' merchants branches across England and Wales, has updated signage at a tranche of sites as part of the rollout. The company describes the work as the completion of "the first phase," which implies further branch updates are planned for the coming months.
For UK tradespeople, the practical implication is straightforward: the same branches, the same stock and the same credit accounts, under a cleaner, more consistent visual identity. Huws Gray has been steadily expanding its branch network through acquisition over the past decade and the rebrand reflects an effort to unify that estate under a single, coherent look.
The merchant plays a significant role in materials supply for builders, groundworkers and general contractors across rural and regional markets in particular, where it tends to be closer to site than the national chains.
No branch closures, product range changes or service alterations have been announced alongside the signage work. The rebrand is cosmetic at this stage.
