Safeguard Europe has launched a 20-litre Eco-Pack refill option for Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream, its water-repellent treatment for brick, stone and masonry. The refill format is aimed at contractors working through larger volumes of the product, offering a lower-packaging-waste alternative to buying multiple smaller containers.
Stormdry is a cream-based masonry water repellent rather than a liquid or spray treatment, which reduces run-off and drift during application and gives more even coverage on vertical masonry surfaces. It's typically specified for damp-proofing and weatherproofing work on existing masonry, particularly where wind-driven rain penetration is the concern rather than rising damp.
Why the refill format matters on larger jobs
For contractors treating full elevations or multiple properties, packaging waste and storage from multiple smaller tubs adds up. A bulk refill format cuts down on plastic and box waste per litre applied, and is worth factoring into procurement if Stormdry is already part of your specification for damp-proofing or re-render prep work.
Safeguard hasn't published refill pricing per litre against the standard pack sizes in the material available to us; confirm current pricing and refill mechanics (whether it's designed to top up a reusable container or ships as a standalone 20L unit) with a distributor before ordering.
