Saniflo's Saniboost Smart booster pump has been picked up as a fix for a low water pressure problem in a Dublin property, according to Professional Builder — a useful data point on a pump that only recently joined the company's Clear Water range.

What the pump actually is

The Saniboost Smart is a variable-speed mains boosting pump, designed for the specific and very common scenario where the incoming mains supply is technically adequate but the delivered pressure and flow at the outlets are not — usually because of restrictive or undersized mains pipework, long runs, or a property sitting at the wrong end of a distribution network.

Published performance figures put it at up to 97 litres per minute of flow and up to 5.5 bar of pressure on mains-fed systems, with a maximum flow rate of 5.2 m³/h and a maximum head of 56m.
