Werner has updated its Telescopic Tower access platform with integrated rung bumpers, a design change aimed squarely at reducing trapped and pinched fingers during assembly and height adjustment. The bumpers create additional spacing between the rungs as the tower is extended or collapsed, closing off a pinch point that's a common source of minor injury on telescopic access equipment.
The Telescopic Tower is designed to be erected by one person in as little as three minutes, and is available across five platform heights: 1.1m, 1.3m, 1.55m, 1.75m and 2.0m, giving a working height of up to four metres once fully extended. That range covers most single-storey internal jobs, from ceiling work to high-level fixing, without needing a full scaffold tower.
Dave Elson, Werner's Compliance Manager, said the Telescopic Tower is "a popular choice among trade professionals, and these latest refinements make it even safer and easier to use."
